F.U.N.!!

Popsicles in her tutu on a hot summer day...YUM!
Caleb's first popsicle.  Probably felt pretty good on his little mouth as 6 new teeth come in.
Crazy hair day at daycare a few weeks ago...Caleb's mohawk didn't stay in very long, but Hannah and her 10 ponies made it all day and she even sported it that night at the county fair!!  For some reason she really didn't look too out of place there :).
Having a picnic with some girlfriends.  It was fun to watch them giggle and have fun playing together.
Bouncing, bouncing, bouncing...Hannah had no trouble going to sleep at night!!  They played so hard...it was so much fun!
Grandma and Grandpa surprised Hannah with a new scooter...she knew right what to do!!  After a few attempts of jumping onto it from the step, we thought it best to put her helmet on!!
Watch me, watch me!!  Her flips just wouldn't cut it...she and grandma had to go and get her tennies so her feet wouldn't slip!
Bouncing with Grandma and getting some AIR!  One of the sweetest things I heard my baby girl say to her grandma today "I'm so glad you are here"...just melts your heart!!

The weather (when it hasn't been raining) has been absolutely beautiful!  So much fun to play outside with the kiddos!!!

Sum sum summertime!

Our sweet Hannah...I look at this picture and cannot believe how big she has gotten.  We are so proud of her--she is the best listener in her class at school, she plays well with others, she says please and thank you, she is kind to her baby brother, and she is so full of life and happiness.

Mr. Caleb...he's been spending the last few weeks teething four top teeth and two bottom ones.  He's a trooper through it all, though, and is just a bit more sleepy.  He's still a tremendous eater and had started to stand up in the tub.  He doesn't really pull himself up anywhere else...he just wants to give us heart attacks by standing up in the most slippery environment he can!

We had a wonderful visit with Mimi and Cousin Linnie who is a missionary from Africa came for dinner.  She is visiting the states for several months and is on an across the country road trip.  We were thankful to have her over for dinner and share our family with her.  It is so interesting to hear how she lives and how much different it is compared to our every day life.

The kids getting ready for Caleb's bouncy birthday party to be hosted over Labor Day weekend!!  Who can believe he will be one already?

Ahhh...L.O.V.E!!

A trip to the park!  We are lucky enough to live within biking distance of a wonderful park.  Hannah climbs into her bike trailer and Caleb sits behind mommy in the baby seat.  They love swinging, sliding, and walking out on the dock to see if there are any fish.

God Bless America...

Some 4th of July weekend fun was had by the WHOLE Terpstra clan in Holland this year.  Uncle Curt and Aunt Kristen, Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Daddy, Hannah, Caleb, Ike and Amos...it was such a beautiful weekend filled with sunshine and warm weather.  We had a fun-filled weekend...here's a peek of some of the fun....

Tie dying a t-shirt at the campground...
Finished product--Hannah was very proud of it and wanted to show everyone who came by.
A hayride through the campground, complete with a sack full of candy!
Eating breakfast in the morning out on the deck enjoying the cool morning air...Caleb's first taste of Lucky Charms...he LOVED them.
Check out his best friend, Ike, always ready for an Ooops.  Ike is one of the words that Caleb can say.
Off to the beach.  Hannah loved Lake Michigan, although she kept calling it the ocean.  The water was 71 degrees, so it was pretty warm.  We played in the sand, tried to keep Caleb from eating handfuls of sand, walked down the pier and shared in the sunshine with thousands of other people.
Even on two sheets, Caleb managed to find the sand.
Until we confined him to the wagon.  He didn't seem to mind one bit!
After a picnic on the beach, it was lights out for our little guy.  Luckily Grandpa needed a nap, too, and was happy to hold our napping C-bone.
Playing in the sand, digging a little swimming hole for Hannah.
 Getting really into it!!
All cleaned up and ready for some 4th of July fun!
 Sparklers with Aunt Kristen.
Hannah was quite leery of them, but she did hold one :).
And a quick photo shoot with Grandma's help.
 Our beautiful, healthy, happy firecrackers!

And, of course, SWIMMING!  Hannah and Caleb both liked being in the water and we spent several hours at the pool, even eating lunch at the pool.

Just chillin'...Thanks, Sissy, for letting me borrow your raft!

We've got a crawler...

FINALLY!!!  At a little over 9 and a half month, Caleb finally ventured out and took his first crawls...

Right to Ike's dog toy :).

He makes his way slowly across the room and then lunges to whatever he is going after.  Hannah was his biggest coach and cheerleader and we all hoorayed when he was making such great progress.

Watch me she always says :).

We're so proud of our little man...we'll be chasing him away from the dog food in no time...that was always one of Hannah's favorite spots, too!
