Last Wednesday we celebrated my birthday--Hannah's favorite part was the cake, of course! I got some beautiful flowers which she also like smelling. Here are some pictures from our celebration.
This morning we took Hannah on her first Easter Egg hunt. It was quite chilly, but she did really well. She picked up about 10 eggs and put them in her sack all by herself. There were tons of kiddos there and Hannah even wanted to see the Easter bunny.
Daddy spent most of the week building a new swingset...now that it's done, Hannah loves it. She wants to go outside every chance she gets and when we are inside, she stands at the back window and bangs at the door to go out. She's learning the words 'push' and 'swing' and flies down the slide by herself!! Thanks, Daddy!!!
On Friday, Hannah had her first official surgery--to put tubes in her ears. Mommy and Daddy were a little anxious, but Hannah did great. After her check-in where they took her vitals and gave her some 'silly' medicine, we were only away from her for about 10 minutes...then the doctor came out and told us she was done! We're hoping this will help relieve some of her ear infections and the doctor cautioned us that Hannah will be much more adventurous now because she's regained so much of her balance. The doctor was right! Saturday was the first time Hannah even attempted to go down the steps by herself--now it's her biggest form of entertainment. She also enjoys standing on the top of her walker and jumping...even though mommy and daddy strongly caution against it.
We celebrated Craig's birthday this week! Hannah loved taste testing the frosting and was quite excited to share in the cake! Daddy got a new book from Hannah and Baby T which I'm sure they'll read over and over again! We're looking forward to see what blessings this year will bring to Craig and our family!!
