18 months old!

Our dear, sweet Hannah is 18 months old today...it is amazing how she has changed and how quickly the time has passed.  She is now in love with babies and is a good, nurturing momma to them.  She still loves her brother Ike and has made it her evening mission to feed him his dinner...it takes several trips with only a few pieces of food in each trip, but it keeps her occupied while I'm making her dinner.  She learns new words everyday and tries to say her ABCs and colors (although the first guess for a color is almost always blue).  Hannah has learned how to climb up to her new slide all by herself, although she still likes the security of having some help going down.  She loves daycare and is very excited to go there and spend the day with all of her little friends.  She's still teeny-tiny and barely weighs over 20 pounds and although she is quite a picky eater she loves her fruits and carbs (just like momma).  She keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh everyday...we think she is quite a ham and knows it.  We love her so much and have enjoyed every minute of the past 18 months.  We look forward to seeing what a lovely big sister she will be!

Mother's Day!

It was such a beautiful day on Mother's Day this year.  After a very touching service at church the three of us went out to dinner and enjoyed some time outside.  After naps we went and had the biggest ice cream sundae I had EVER seen.  It was a pregnant momma's dream come true!  We didn't come close to finishing it, but it was delicious!  Hannah made some beautiful artwork this year--one for home and one for my office at work.  I couldn't ask for a better, more loving family and cannot wait until Mother's Day next year when I'll get to celebrate with one more blessing!

New CUTE helmet!

Yesterday Hannah got her first bike helmet from the pediatrican.  Although she cried while she was getting fitted--once she got home it was a whole different story.  She LOVED having it on and wanted to wear it while she was coloring in her high chair.  We went for a bike ride later that night and she kept knocking on it with her little hand and smiling.  Now if we could just get daddy to wear one...

Little Miss-chievious

Last week one night it was just a little too quiet in the living room while Craig and I were in the kitchen unpacking from our day and getting dinner ready...we peeked around the corner and saw little Miss Hannah peering out the window, on top of a coffee table.  She is so in love with seeing Robbies outside that I'm sure that's what she was looking for.  I couldn't help but capture the moment!

Spring Activities

We've been quite busy going places and seeing new things...Hannah has loved the road trips, but she also loves hanging out at home and playing outside.  We got a new bird feeder a few weekends ago and she enjoys seeing the birds eating as she chases them around the yard, yelling "Robbie".  We have so much fun with her!

Helping daddy with the yard work!!
Visiting the John Ball Zoo with Mimi and Papa...Hannah was already looking for what was next!
Hannah's favorite part of the zoo were the penguins.  You can watch them swim in the water through glass...she gasped in excitement when she saw them for the first time.
She's such a sweet little thing that she wanted to share her fruit loops with the bears...
Now, at the Frederik Meijer Butterfly Gardens where there were such beautiful butterflies...some of which even landed on Craig and I.  Hannah enjoyed looking for them and watching them fly around.  There were even some birds that caught her attention.
Hannah decided to get a closer look and sit down by a flower with several butterflies having some breakfast.

Checking them all out...
Daddy and Hannie...my beautiful family!

Here are just a few pictures I took of some flowers at the gardens...I felt they were too pretty not to share.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebration with Hannah and Mimi and Papa who were visiting from Missouri.  After a very uplifting church service we came home to see what the Easter bunny had left for Miss Hannah...she had a pretty good year as her basket was stuffed full of goodies!  Then, we went outside for an Easter egg hunt.  Hannah picked up all her eggs and some playdoh and enjoyed opening them to see what was inside.  Many of them held money, fruit loops and yummy marshmallows.  She liked putting the coins and dollars in her piggy bank and tried to sneak a few fruit loops in there, too.  We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then after nap time we were able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful day.  We are so thankful for all the blessings we have been given especially that Christ died and rose again for each one of us!
